At La Thai restaurant by myself. It's Thai food with a Cajun flair. Lovely Ahi Tuna starter. And the Duck Cubes were divine!!

Restaurant Rebirth [Lower Garden District, New Orleans, LA]
Took a tip from an Uber driver. Found a great restaurant! And, he sent a bottle of champagne for after dinner. Nice guy!We shared the Oyster Pasta, a third of the Seafood Platter, and some kind of Pork Belly appetizers. I had the Lamb Chops, which was delicious! Shawn had the Chicken Rochambeau. Rosendo had a Stuffed Soft Shell Crab. The food was delicious!

Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]
Or Teakhouse as we like to call it. Fabulous dinner! Shawn, Rosendo, and I went there for dinner, it was so good! And the service was great! I had the 12 oz Prime Rib, Rosendo had a nice Ribeye steak, and Shawn had something else with a side of Lobster Mac and Cheese. The picture of the three of us was a nice touch.

Acme Oyster House [Covington, LA]
Shawn and I drove across the longest bridge for oysters! :) We went to Acme Oyster House in Covington, LA. It was nice. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
We had the chargrilled oysters. They were pretty good, but I still like Drago's in Metairie the best. We also had crab claws to for an appetizer. And we had the stuffed crab. Good, but completely fried.
Shawn had the Shrimp Poboy sandwich. She said it was pretty good. I had some kind of shrimp. Tasty, but not spectacular.

Bourbon House [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]
The food was good, but I have to say the service was lacking. The hostess didn't acknowledge us when we came in, then tried to seat us in the bar area. I thought maybe the dining room was full, but no. There was plenty of room. The only bright spot was James, the beverage boy. Our waiter was nice, but not attentive at all.

New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood [French Quarter, New Orleans, LA]
Saji and I walked to the French Quarter near the Mississippi river and Cafe du Monde. We found the New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood restaurant. It's the same as the one near the office. We started with the Alligator Poppers. Very tasty! Then I had the Big Ch-easy burger. The garlic fries were a delight. As good as I remembered it. :) And Saji had the Catfish with a side of Jambalaya. Also very good.Afterwards, a stop at the Cafe du Monde for beignets!

Seither's Seafood [Harahan, New Orleans, LA]
Wow! This restaurant was great! Except for the crabby waitress at the end. But the food was outstanding both taste wise and visually. For appetizers, we had the Fried Green Tomatoes and a separate shrimp dish (which we ate most of before I remembered to take a photo).
I had the Crab Cake and Fish Wrap. And the Sweet Chili Thai Chicken Strips. Both were fabulous! Rosendo had the Crab Boil. Wow! And Udaya had a Fried Eggplant Vegie Pasta which she said was kind of bland. But, it's not a vegetarian place, so I can forgive that.

Drago's Seafood Restaurant [Warehouse District, New Orleans, LA]
This is the second time we've been to Drago's. The first was the original in Metairie. Delicious both times! This one is in the Hilton Riverside. We started off with the charbroiled oysters. I think these are the best I've had anywhere! I had the shrimp and grits. Less spectacular visually than some other restaurants, but it was pretty good. Rosendo had lobster, very nice.

Jaeger's Seafood and Beer Garden [Elmwood, LA]
Yum! Right near the office, Jeager's is delicious! I had the crawfish. Big and juicy. And the chargrilled oysters, also wonderful, but not the best I've had.

Oceana Grill [French Quarter, New Orleans, LA]
Rosendo and I went to Oceana Grill in the French Quarter. The one time that Udaya doesn't come with us, they have a vegetarian section to the menu!We sat on the second floor. The A/C was turned down so low, it felt like an icebox. Even Rosendo said it was cold.
We had the chargrilled oysters as an appetizer. They were ok, a little heavy on the cheese and stuff.
Then I had the Ribeye steak with jambalaya and collard greens. Kind of sloppy, but it was more of a touristy restaurant. The steak was good, but there was a lot of inedible fat in it. Like a third of the steak was fat. The collard greens were delicious. I did not have the jambalaya - too many carbs.
Afterwards, we stopped to listen to a jazz band in the Legends Musical Park at the corner of Bourbon St and Bienville St.
