Emeril's Delmonico [Central City, New Orleans, LA]

Shawn G, Rosendo, and I went to Emeril's Delmonico for dinner. The service was excellent, the food was fabulous! I can't remember exactly what everyone had, but it looks like shrimp appetizer, gumbo, chicken two ways, and two other things. But as I recall, it was all delicious.

Lucile's Stateside Bistro [Ft Worth, TX]

Went to Lucile's Stateside Bistro with my brother Jon for brunch. He recommended the Eggs Benedict. Yummy! The restaurant was more a seafood place though, more like a roadside diner. But it was pleasant and the food was tasty.

Emeril's DelMonico [Central City, New Orleans, LA]

Went to Emeril's DelMonico with Rosendo. Another fabulous restaurant! It was soooo good!

Ok, I had a set three course dinner of Artichoke and Gnocchi Salad, Softshell Crab entree, and a bread pudding. It was a special, I can't remember the names exactly, but delicousness. I also had a very nice Durigutti Malbec wine to go with it. Rosendo had the 20 oz Bone In Ribeye with mushrooms. Dry aged for 20 days. Wonderful!

Fogo de Chão [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]

So I gave Fogo de Chao another chance. It was much better this time. Having a good server certainly helped! We were seated next to the kitchen where the meat was roasted over a spit. It was quite nice!

Morton's the Steakhouse [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]

Also visited Morton's the Steakhouse again this week. And again, wonderful!! I had the Filet Mignon which was delicious. I also had the Famiglia Bianchi Malbec wine, also very nice. Rosendo had the Rack of Lamb. It was outstanding!!
