Founding Farmers [Tyson's Corner, VA]

Had dinner a Founding Farmers with the class I was supposed to be in. It was really good. Everything is fresh from the farm and made on premises. There was a nice selection of breads and dips and other stuff as appetizers. I had the Ribeye (not with the Lobster). It was pretty good. But, the Prime Rib that Shawn had was melt in your mouth! We finished dinner off with a piece of Carrot Cake. Yum! Afterwards, we had drinks at the hotel bar.

Season's 52 [Tyson's Corner, McLean, VA]

Had dinner at Season's 52 with most of the Analytics team. There was some kind of interesting appetizer that had crab meat. And I had the Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon. It was great!

Second Empire [Raleigh, NC]

Found a charming restaurant in Raleigh, NC during the ECO conference with Rosendo. Fabulous place, fabulous food. Can't remember exactly what my starter was, but Rosendo had the French Onion Soup. And we both had the lamb chops. Very nice.

Chophouse New Orleans [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]

Went to the Chophouse New Orleans with Rosendo. We both ordered the 8 oz. Center Cut Ribeye. I had a side of asparagus with a side of hollandaise sauce while Rosendo had a fully loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked Pittsburgh style, charred on the outside with a warm red/pink center.

I also had the Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon, delicious. It was a very nice, quiet restaurant with a lot of class. And the waiter was great, attention to detail was impeccable.

Lucile's Stateside Bistro [Ft Worth, TX]

Went to Lucile's Stateside Bistro with my brother Jon for brunch. He recommended the Eggs Benedict. Yummy! The restaurant was more a seafood place though, more like a roadside diner. But it was pleasant and the food was tasty.

55 Fahrenheit [Central Business District, New Orleans, LA]

This was the Marriott hotel restaurant. It was nice, but not overly so. For appetizers, we had the deviled eggs with bacon and the charbroiled oysters. The eggs were fabulous and the oysters were good.

I had the shrimp and grits. To tell the truth, it's good but better at other places. Rosendo had some kind of beef which looked good. And Udaya had a nice vegetable and mozzarella  sandwich.
